Start with a conversation, not a form.
Half an hour, no obligation, no product. The purpose is to understand what you are trying to build and to work out honestly whether I am the right person to help you build it. If I am not, I will tell you and point you somewhere better.
What the first conversation is
Mostly questions from me. What you are earning towards, what is already in place, what keeps coming back at two in the morning. I would rather understand the why before looking at a single number.
You will not be asked to sign anything, transfer anything, or decide anything on the call. You should leave with at least one clear thought you did not walk in with. That is the bar I hold myself to.
What helps, if you have it
- A rough sense of monthly income and monthly outgoings.
- What insurance you currently hold, life and health.
- A list of what you are already invested in, however untidy.
- Any loan or EMI that is running.
- Two or three things you actually want money to do for you.
None of this is required. Turning up with nothing is fine, and common.
Trainings and talks
Sessions for teams, groups and institutions
I run financial literacy sessions for companies, professional bodies, schools, colleges and community groups. They are education rather than sales: no products, no scheme names, nothing to sign up for at the end.
The usual subjects are the behavioural ones, because they are the ones that change what people do. Why money decisions go wrong when the maths is right. Lifestyle inflation and what a raise quietly costs. How to talk about money with a partner. What to put in place first, and in what order. Sessions typically run sixty to ninety minutes with time for questions, in person in Kolkata or online anywhere.
Write to me with your group, roughly how many people, and what you would like them to walk out with, and I will come back with a proposed outline.
